Mr. Jamie Sowders

Jamie Sowders, Principal at Sayler Park School, has a well-traveled career with varying experiences but has found a home at Sayler Park School.  He taught English for 11 years at the middle and high school levels before beginning his administrative career.

In 2010, Mr. Sowders became Principal of Summit Academy. From there, he served Princeton Middle School as an Assistant Principal before being hired as Sayler Park’s Principal in 2014.

Mr. Sowders earned his Bachelor’s degree in English from Hanover College, his teacher’s certification from the College of Mt. St. Joseph, and finally his Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati.

Keeping curiosity alive and helping students develop a love of learning are two driving forces in Mr. Sowders career.
