UC EarlyIT: University of Cincinnati Early Information Technology program
Partners: UC School of IT; Clark, Hughes STEM, Shroder, Western Hills, Dater, Gamble
Grade Levels Impacted: 9-12 (class of 2021 was first matriculating cohort)
Components:

Up to 6 IT courses (IT Fundamentals, Web Development, Programming I, Database I, Networking, and Systems Administration) delivered bilaterally by CPS instructors

Direct admission to UC School of IT for students who complete all 6 IT courses + College Math, College English, College Humanities) with a C
-
These students will have 2nd year status upon matriculation to UC Preferred review for any student who completes at least 2 courses with a C or higher

Access to UC IT Expo, Summer Camp, and other experiential opportunities

Access to internships while in high school

Access for opportunities for co-op the summer after high school graduation, for students who satisfactorily complete all aspects of the program
