Overview
Riverview East Academy, a school for preschool to 12th-grade students, offers a college-preparatory high school where students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for life after high school. As one of the few schools in the Tristate covering this preschool to 12th-grade range, Riverview East offers unique learning experiences. Students will build strong ties to the school and the community over the years.
Riverview East offers an environment where the school community works to ensure that all students succeed. The school continues to develop the necessary academic and social supports each student needs to achieve success and become a productive, responsible citizen.
Riverview’s 7th- and 8th-grade students learn in their own pods within the large building, have a separate lunch period and are offered opportunities to take high school courses for credit.

Advisory
Advisory Teams are made up of a small group of students and a teacher. They are a place where students make plans: for school, for college, for their careers and for their futures. This is a safe time to talk about barriers and needs; to be serious, but to have fun, too. Advisories help students build academic and social skills by breaking down barriers, fostering relationships, strengthening listening skills and, most important, building trust.
CPS' My Tomorrow Initiative
My Tomorrow is a new vision of education for CPS in which every student is prepared for the remarkable future racing straight at us.
Content Standards
At CPS, we aim to ensure all of our students graduate from high school ready for the career paths of their choice. That's why all of our schools offer coursework that challenges and engages our students. We follow Ohio's Learning Standards to ensure our students at all grade levels build the skills and knowledge they need to be college and career ready.
