    CPS' My Tomorrow Initiative

My Tomorrow is a new vision of education for Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) in which every student is prepared for the remarkable future racing straight at us.

    Content Standards

At CPS, we aim to ensure all of our students graduate from high school ready for the career paths of their choice. That's why all of our schools offer coursework that challenges and engages our students. We follow Ohio's Learning Standards to ensure our students at all grade levels build the skills and knowledge they need to be college and career ready.

    High School Course Guide

Our High School Course Guide offers more details about the opportunities and resources available to our high school students. Students and their families are encouraged to use the High School Course Guide to plan their educational pathway. The guide includes course descriptions, information about early college credit and alternative credit programs, and more. Graduation requirements, grade reporting, report cards and other policies and procedures are also included in the guide.

    Monitoring Academics and Testing

CPS students are tested throughout the school year to determine knowledge and skill levels. These tests measure students’ achievement to determine strengths and weaknesses, so teachers can adjust instruction to meet students’ needs. CDA students are required to take any Ohio-mandated tests in person at CDA, 425 Ezzard Charles Drive (45023).  Visit the CPS website to learn more about the testing procedures and academics.

    Special Education

Special education and related services are offered to children ages three through twenty-one in public and non-public schools. Visit the CPS website to learn more about our programs and services.
