Ohio State Tests: Spring 2024

Beginning in April, Cincinnati Public School students will take the following state assessments:

• Grades 3, 4, 6, 7 - English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics

• Grades 5, 8 - English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science

• Grade 9-12 - Students will test based upon course enrollment and graduation requirements. The End-of-Course tests are English Language Arts II, Algebra I, Geometry, Biology, American History, and American Government.

Timeline:

• English Language Arts: April 1, 2024 - April 19, 2024

• Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies: April 22, 2024 - May 10, 2024

Ohio law requires public school districts to administer state assessments assigned to each student’s enrolled grade level or course, regardless of the student’s time in Ohio public schools.
